Autumn Leaf Color ~ My Fantastic 9 – Autumn Breeze!

Last weekend, I was at the Parc Regional du la rivere du-nord, I was inspired to do this new makeup look using the autumn leaves colors. I can’t help but been sucked into¬†the beauty of the season. Therefore, here is another of my new eye makeup look series “My Fantastic 9 ~ Autumn Breeze edition.

I started by filing in my eyebrow with my all time favorite Prestige Eye Brow pencil in Medium/Dark color and the eyeshadow palette which I used for this makeup is NYX The Caribbean Collection and SAX eyeshadow palette, which I bought it at a drugstore long time ago. I used most of the color from this NYX palette since it has all the color shades for autumn leaf. Which is orange, yellow, green and red and brown from the Sax palette.

I then used my favorite eyeliner by Prestige to draw on the top eyelids and finished it with NYC mascara in Jet black.

I enjoy this part or doing my eyeshadow look differently and until next time. I hope you find this blog useful and interesting.

Stay beautiful and have a beautiful week.

My First Impression ~West Vintage review!

I’m back with my first impression review on this Trio Eyeshadow in West Vintage by NYC. I have to admit that I bought this because it’s costs me very little and I just wanted to try it out especially on these lovely vintage-gy beauties. I paid about less than $3.00 for this Trio eyeshadow at Target. I love vintage or antique thingy.

I¬†have to visionized what¬†my eye makeup looks will be since I can’t make a color swatch at Target. I did the color swatches only after I got them. I like the vintage colors on this palette and the swatches¬†I would say is¬†average.

It’s average pigmented but the color fall out pretty fast. It’s matte finish and a little powdery texture. It allows color built-up without making eyes looked creased. The colors are very light and I applied three layers to get the color that I wanted. Very low color payoff. I didn’t use eye primer for this makeup look. Just using the trio on the palette for my eye lids, crease and highlighter.

I wish that NYC would have come up with a much better eyeshadows considering that there were so many competitions out there. Well, I don’t think I will get this Trio eyeshadow again but I will finish using it.This is just my experience with this eyeshadow and it’s too matte finish for me. But my bet is that it might work for others depending on¬†your skin type.

Have you tried any of the NYC products before that disappoints?

My Fantastic 9 ~ Autumn Breeze- Winged eyeliner under eyes

Hi beauties, welcome to my first edition of My Fantastic 9 ~ Autumn Breeze new makeup look for this autumn. If you remembered, I posted in my previous blog that I will be sharing with you my new autumn look.

Fantastic 9 Makeup

I’m using a very different makeup style for my eyes this time. I am doing a winged eyeliner under my eyes and a more daring look. The makeup which I used were my Fantastic 9. I know it is a fashion to wear the winged eyeliner under instead of on top. Well, I love to try different things especially on makeup and so there you have it. Strange or you can say artistic,¬†I sure¬†enjoyed playing with my eyeshadow palettes and looking great.

I just got the NYX makeup few days ago from a drugstore and since I’m so thrilled to try these bright, vibrant eyeshadows and also to do my new autumn look. I just can’t wait and therefore you got a sneak preview of some of the¬†products that I will be featuring on my Friday Beauty Haul.

Iam using¬†the yellow to cover my eye lids and also as a highlighter.¬†The orange color shadow I used it as a soft crease line¬†from NYX palette and the purple I’m using the Maybelline cream shadow for my lid. Then, I lined¬† the upper lids with ELF eyeliner and then followed by Prestige pencil to make the underlined winged¬†eyes effect. Finished my winged eyes look with black mascara from Hard Candy.

I’m super excited to share my new found experience with you all and I hope you will also be inspired to do something new. I definitely love this look and I have been wearing it for more than 5 hours and all my makeup are still intact. I loved the blusher, it’s so pigmented and the color payoff is so amazing. I did two gentle brushing and the color is just so so amazing.

The BB cream that I am wearing is in medium shade and I like the coverage of it. The downside of this BB cream is that it only has¬†2 shades to choose from. Either light or medium tone. So, I think that the medium is still¬†quite light for my color tone¬†especially in the summer but since I usually¬†turned lighter skin when it’s winter where there were less daylight.

This lip liner is soft and it glides easier and able to let me draw my lip line and also filling in the color which I just love. For this look, I’m using more matte color to complement my overall makeup look. I absolutely love this adventure of doing this autumn look.

Hope you like my new makeup look and click like if you did! I will also be featuring a few more new looks in the next coming weeks under My Fantastic 9 ~ Autumn Breeze Makeup Look.

What are the new look that you have tried before?

Thanks for reading.

My Fantastic 9 ~ Autumn Breeze!

Hey guys! It’s autumn and the nights are drawing¬†¬†in quicker¬†and the colors of the leaves are turning¬†to¬†red, amber and¬†brown. As we also noticed the cold air blowing gently into the northern hemisphere.¬†I am¬†ready for autumn.

Well since the season is changing, I am also¬†doing a new¬†makeup look for the season. I’m starting off with a brown color eye look with¬†dark berry color lipstick and pretty coral blush and finishes it with a touch of mascara.¬†Oh yes,¬†I put on my moisturizer cream as usual and then the matte mousse foundation before applying all the makeup.

Pixi Mesmerizing Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey guys!

Yesterday, I put up some of my¬†beauty haul. It was my recent purchased from Target. Frankly, I haven’t tried Pixi makeup before and I’m just thrilled to be able to pick up this pretty eyeshadow palette in Copper Peach for $12.00 (0.20 oz).

Pixi Mesmerizing Eye Shadow

Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette.

Pixi Mesmerizing Eye Shadow

On their website, it shows five different varieties of color palettes. This palette is not a limited edition since I don’t see anything on the packaging that says so.

Color swatch

I would say that the colors are¬†almost nude and neutral.¬†It’s a very pretty color and I think it is well suited for everyday wear. Some shades are smoother/softer than others, but all of the shadows commonly are very pigmented, and you only need the lightest touch of the brush for good color pay-off (especially the darker shades).

Pixi Mesmerizing shadow Pixi closed up Pixi Pixi eye makeup look closed up Pixi side view Pixi mesmerizing shadow (2)

These colors are beautiful and smooth. It’s silky and the pigmentation was perfect. There are three matte colors in the palette and three shimmery or gem-y. I also noticed that the third and fifth color seems to be pretty similar when I made the color swatch. Both colors looked like light beige to me on swatch. Color division of the packaging are clean and sleek.

I¬†like the box packaging. It¬†was of soft¬†light green with gold lining.¬† I’m sure¬†some of you would know that green is one of my favorite colors.¬†These colors are great. The pigment is perfect and it stays all day. It didn’t crease has any fall out¬†and I really like the smooth and soft texture of this eyeshadow.

At $12.00 a palette , these eyeshadow is decent in price for Target brand but a little bit pricey for high street store.

I find it to be a lovely everyday shade. Great for day and evening wear. I used three color shades from the palette for my makeup look, top with granite color eyeliner by Prestige and mascara from NYC.

What is your favorite makeup product from Pixi?

Thanks for reading.

Beauty Haul! Target mini beauty makeup haul

Target mini makeup haul

It’s that time, my¬†beauty mini makeup haul has landed.¬†Yes!!! I went shopping again at Target and got some beauty bits that I really want to try. I’m¬†thrilled to share some of¬† my haul today with you.

So here is the little haul of what I’ve purchased!

I have wanted to try the Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral¬†palette for a while and so I decided that it’s time for me to get it. It’s a little bit expensive for a small palette eyeshadow but¬†I’m all in for this one.¬†I picked up¬†this¬†gorgeous color¬†Copper Peach palette in 0.20 oz¬†and I know that I’m pretty sure going to have lots of fun playing with these colors.

pixi eyeshadow palette

I really want to talk more on each of the makeup that I just picked up.¬†So, I will start off with this Pixi palette. So, many fun colors to play with,¬†I’ll be busy for weeks. I would¬†definitely give my thoughts and opinion once I have tried them including swatches etc in my next blog.

nyc new trio eyeshadow

Next up is the NYC New Trio Eyeshadow in 789 on West Vintage.¬†Trying new colors¬†are one of my favorite things¬†to explore. So, I like this West vintage eyeshadow and absolutely doesn’t mind giving it a try.¬†I got mine for less than $3.00 for 0.15oz¬†depending on where you live.¬†Pretty intense color palette and it came with a duo-end tiny little brush. Will have my review up soon.

Maybelline Fit Me foundation 315maybelline fit me foundation swatch

Next¬†in line is the¬†Maybelline Fit Me Octinoxate¬†lotion with SPF18¬†. I got hold of this one in¬†315 on Soft Honey (1 fl oz) which was on special for $6.99. I made a color swatch and the color tone seems to pretty much¬†complement my skin tone. Behind the bottle it does mentioned matches natural tones, blends seamlessly and let skin breathe. I’m not here to do a full blown review, don’t panic. Ha!Ha!

Finally, I also like to share with you this Cover Girl Pressed Powder in  715 on translucent medium. Compact powder is 0.32 oz for $6.99 (regular price $8.99) at Target. In the next few days, I will be using these pressed powder with my foundation and will share my experience with you as we go along.

Last item in my haul will be the NYC Show Time Mascara in 844 on Extreme Black. This mascara has shorter brush and it’s waterproof. Yeah!!!
