I so so love a good eyeshadow palette and I got to admit that I’ve been having a thing for high-end concealer lately. So when I saw that a pr brand has kindly sent me these new launch beauty products by Laura Mercier which you might have already seen if you follow me on Insta I was over the moon.
This is their new collection Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer and Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays. I’m suuper excited to try these stuff out!!!
The wand applicator is the shape of a doe foot as you can see here.
The incredibly lightweight formula feels undetectable on skin, while the Blurring Powder Blend diffuses light to smooth the look of fine lines and create a soft-focus effect. It glide on to create buildable, medium to full coverage that beautifully hides out any skin imperfection or blemishes with formula that wears evenly. The consistency of the formula is just amazing. It’s weighless and comfortable to wear it “feels like a second skin“.. I’m impressed by how easy it’s to blend and buff it out. I’m a big fan!
I wore this over the weekend and got alot of compliments from my church friends at how flawless my skin looks. I really can’t fault the packaging on this collection, which leads me on to the eyeshadow palette…
This palette is inspired by the textures Laura’s Parisian atelier and her painting studio. An editorial inspired eyehsshadow palette featuring 6 highly pigmented clay-textured eyeshadows in matte and metallic finishes plus a custome built-in powder to prolong wear. This sleek and slim packaging comes with a huge mirror which I’m sure alot of us would appreciate and relate to.
The pigmentation of these shadows are just out of this world!
3 Brushed Mettalik Clays: (I meant to spell metallic as *metallik in par with this studio inspired collection)
3 Matte Clays:
Air-light Setting Powder
A beautiful color shadows that you can wear for day or night, warm smoky eye look. I like to use the matte shadows on my lids and as a transition color in the crease then chased it with the Metallik Rosegold into the inner corner of the eye and around the tear duct. Highlight eyelids with the Metallik Whitegold. I really like the cool concept of an Air-light Setting Powder to this palette.
Any fan of the brand will love this as the shades are super-wearable, the packaging is gorgeous. This just launched in February and is CAD$58.00 a palette. The price may seems like a splurge but it’s ideal if you’re looking for an easy and versatile quality palette that you can wear individually or in contrasting texture and shade combinations to take you from day to night. I love trying out new beauty stuff and have always wanted to try Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder that was raved all across the internet by beauty youtubers and bloggers the same. This is totally different from what I expected. It’s heaven! This stuff is so lightweight and silky smooth. I think it’s a formula that’s above and beyond imagination! I’ve never touched a texture this weightless before. It looks almost translucent on swatch but has an amazing feel on skin. Very impressive!
What do you think of this palette? I really like them – a great ‘throw in your bag’ option. You can lock your work in place with this setting powder. It’s sets color and control oil breakthrough for all day wear without creasing. I’ve never tried anything like this before! As you would expect from Laura Mercier, they’re beautifully pigmented and brilliant. I’m sure will be an instant sell-out!
A big thanks to the pr team for sending me these amazing products to add to my makeup collection. I adore them!
What do you guys think? Are you as blown away as I am by this collection? Any in particular catch your eye?
