Oh my gosh! Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there! I hope you guys had an amazing day spending time with your loved ones. Today I’m doing a What I got for Mother’s Day post and I believe this is my first time doing this type of post. Comment below if you like to see more of this kind of post. I was excited and open them immediately so I can write this post for your guys.
So without further ado, let’s hop into what I got for mother’s day!
First thing and what I asked for is a YVES SAINT LAURENT Mon Paris Gift Set from Sephora. I’ve always wanted to try St Laurent’s beauty products especially their perfume and lipstick, so I’m really happy and excited when I got this from my hubs. Thanks hun if you’re reading this.
This set contains:
– 1.6 oz/ 50 mL Mon Paris Eau de Parfum
– 0.05 oz/ 1.6 g Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-In-Stick in No.49
– Makeup Pouch
I love everything in this box.
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Liquid Lipstick in the shades Madison which is described as a vibrant plum magenta and Naked is a light peachy nude. I’m in love with the formula. Love the consistency of a full-pigment and long wearing. This matte formula dries to a weightless powder for smudge-proof wearability.
I was super excited to do a color swatch for you guys since it’s my first time trying a lip product from Anastasia. Oh boy! Can you just look how pretty these shades are. On my left is this beautiful spring shade Madison and the one next to it is Naked. I’m falling in love with them. I feel like this is so me shades. I wore the shade Madison and it lasted me for the entire day. We ate sushi for lunch and lobsters for dinner and I don’t even need to reapply this at all. This gets two thumbs up! Love it!
The next thing I got is the GLAMGLOW POUTMUD Wet Lip Balm Tint in Sugar Plum. These lip balms comes in six different colors. You guys know by now that I’m such a sucker when it comes to cute packaging and I was even more thrilled when I saw the stuff I wanted to try is on sale. Well, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t get it, right! I need this in my life. Super cute!
For the purpose of this post, I work up early this morning just to try it out for you guys. It feels very moisturizing and soft on the lips. I like that it glides on so easily and super hydrating. It gives my lips that fresh and a little tint of color. It’s safe to say that it makes my lips looks luxurious and kissable. It’s a good lip balm to have it in your purse.
And then I also got ATELIER COLOGNE Perfume Ornament which is a random pick while shopping online at Sephora. It’s a holiday collection line and I thought the packaging is cute and I like the scents of their perfumes. I haven’t tried wear these yet but I’m going to do a separate post on perfumes in the next few weeks. So, don’t forget to stay tuned!
In the meantime here’s the ingredients mentioned at the Sephora’s website:
Orange Sanguine, a zesty and energizing burst of crushed ripe fruit, plays off sweet blood orange juice against bitter orange peel and sensual notes of geranium. This addictive cologne brings to mind relaxed mornings, sunrises, and soft sea breezes.
Vanille Insensée, an electrical current runs through the subtle sweetness of vanilla, jasmine, and fresh lime to bond with rich oak moss, woods, and spicy coriander. This alluring cologne brings to mind breathtaking and magical moments.
I used up my 500 Reward Points to claim for a CLINIQUE Anyways, I’ll report back once I’m finished testing them out and you can check back later in my blog.
