Tester Wednesday: Purederm Peel-Off Mask

Hey guys! How is it going? Today’ I’ll be doing a mask review. I got several request via e-mail asking for this review and here’s my thoughts and opinion.

Let’s take a look:

Inside this box, there are 5 peel off masks.

I love peeling off anything glue related, so when I saw this at Walmart I got to try it.

How to: Peeling gel is used on a dry clean face after cleansing. You massage it on but avoid the eye areas and it begins to peel up on your face, supposedly this action removes dead skin cells, etc… I could feel a tightening effect (in a good way) as this product dried up.

Same concept as all peeling gels. Rub it on evenly, watch it peel, and proceed to rinse with cool water to clean away all other residues. The difference between this peel off than others is that it helps moisturize skin leaving it smooth and silky.

Here’s the ingredient used in the Peel-Off Mask.

It comes in a clear gel type format. Very nice consistency and the cucumber extracts makes my skin feels cool and relaxed.

testing

My conclusion, I’ve been testing this for about three weeks now and I’m happy to say I really like this product.

Have you tried any peel off mask from other brands? Which would you like me try next? Comment below.

Thank you for reading! Hope to see you again on the next one. Bye!

Sharon xoxo

I am obsessed with peel off masks, I’m going to have to pick this one up! How does it smell? Is it mostly like cucumber or do other frangrances come through?

I need to see if my Walmart carries this. I have been curious about these type products and this looks like a reasonably priced way to try one out.

I’ve never tried peelers, I always use scrubs and clay masks but this looks very interesting. Probably gentler on my skin as well!

Do you find that if you keep using the same mask too often, it loses effectiveness? I practice a strategy which is to keep switching products. By doing so, the new product is always more effective than if I continue using the same one.

  9. I will have to see if my Walmart carries this product. I need to start using more peel off masks and the fact that this one is very affordable is a major plus.

  10. I love peel-off masks! I actually did a similar post a few weeks ago with a cucumber mask but mine was a different brand. If you’re interested, you can check it out – I’ll leave a link for you. The one I used comes in a squeeze bottle, so I get probably 6+ applications from one $4-6 (depending on where I get it) bottle, and it’s amazing!

I have a lot of fun with peel off masks! I’m going to have to give this brand a try. Did you notice any difference in your skin after the 3 weeks?

    • It definitely makes my skin feeling smooth and soft after. You still have to apply moisturizer if you’re a dry skin type. Hope this helps answer your question.

I LOVE doing masks. When I was a teen I lived for the cucumber melon peel, I forget the brand though. It’s been a long time since I’ve done one and your post is making me crave doing one again soon!

The cucumber in this mask caught my attention. I am not a huge fan of peel off masks but I wouldn’t mind looking into this one I’m trying it out.

I like a peel off mask, but some hurt so much around your eyes. I also seem to always go to work with bits in my hair the next day haha
