Thank you Maybelline for always making my heart skipped a bit!

Good morning! What’s up you guys! This post is going to be about Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation.

Yay! I’m excited so let’s jump into it.

Yass!! Today I’ll be doing a product review on this Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation. Now, who is excited? This product is available at any drugstores, Walmart or on their website.

This is how it looks like.

I got the shade in Classic Ivory (#20). A pretty nice color that’s not too pale for my light-medium skin tone to my surprise. I’m much paler in winter than other season of the year and I prefer shades which is lighter than dark. I really like the cute packaging as well. It’s really nice and compact, an all-in-one, airtight compact which maintained the moistness of the sponge and the stamp form with the cap and body that didn’t separate.

I’m just going to show you the instructions behind the packaging. Note this product is made in Korea. Korea has gained popularity worldwide over the past decades. We know that with the Korean beauty boom its impact on the global cosmetic and personal care industries has gained both momentum and credibility in beauty markets around the world.

Maybelline Dream Cushion foundation has eight shades available for every skin tone: 10 Porcelain, 15 Ivory, 20 Classic Ivory, 30 Warm Nude, 40 True Beige, 45 Medium Beige, 55 Caramel and 60 Cocoa.

Have you seen these cushion compacts like this one have been over the place lately!

For example, we have seen beauty powerhouses like Chanel, Lancôme and L’Oréal launched their own cushion compact foundations in the beauty market since the beginning of last year.

When you open the compact, instead of there being a pan of cream or powder, there’s a sponge pre-soaked with liquid foundation.

This cushion foundation is lightweight, it gives medium coverage and beautifully blurs my pores. On top of that, blending it doesn’t budge on my skin at all.

I actually really like the sponge. It feels so soft. Love, love it! And here’s what the cushion foundation looks like. The packaging is almost identical to the L’oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation.

Just one quick little dab gives you a lot of product. So, a little goes a long way. I like that! I love the consistency and I love this sponge applicator that comes with it. It feels extremely light on skin. Ahh!!! I love it!

It gives a pretty dewy look on my skin which I really like. It’s great coverage and you could build it up to your desire coverage. It’s really a nice product because it’s convenient to bring it everywhere, it has a great consistency and the formula is outstanding.

Are you excited to pick up this cushion foundation? Comment below.

Anyways, that’s it for today’s review. If you guys have any questions, let me know.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog. I hope to see you soon on my next post. Bye!

Sharon xoxo

  1. I need to explore MAYBELLINE! I never really have. To be honest, I have never really explored DRUG STORE Makeup because I always feel as though I need someone to assist me – but hey, you’re kind of assisting me right now so… WIN WIN! I have to go to the drug store today anyways! So MAYBELLINE mightttttt make its way into my bag!

  2. I am loving seeing these cushion foundations everywhere – the liquid is so much better than the old powder compacts! I love that this one comes in so many shades too – I’m so pale sometimes it’s hard to find light enough makeup.

  7. well, its not easy to find the color that fits perfectly, but the one you use, i’ll sure try it, because, it seems to be as my skin color. With the pictures you posted, i felt like I was opening the foundation by myself! now I want to go shopping one too!

  8. I’ve used the mousse before, but found it gets grainy after a while and impossible to apply. I’ve switched to using the same formula but in the liquid and it works well for me.

  9. I love your review, but I don’t think anyone can persuade me to use any other makeup than the one I’ve been using for the past 13+ years of my life! Lol xoxo

  10. I actually considered buying the Maybelline CC Cushion but ended up buying the Face Shop CC Cushion. When I last checked kasi it had limited reviews and price point is close to the Face Shop Cushion.
