Hi Guys, welcome back to Tested Wednesday, a weekly makeup promo review series on my beauty blog. Each week I show you my makeup collection which I’ve tested, tried and really like at least for a full week. Come back each week to find out my detailed review and swatches as well as what I’ll be reviewing in the upcoming week.
So, this week I’ll be talking about on these cruelty free makeup. And the star of this week’s post is the Flower Beauty Luxury Lip Color exclusively at Walmart only. Unfortunately, for Canadian friends, we no longer be able to get hold of this brand but if you’re in the US you probably should be able to find this brand at your local Walmart.
This was the last batch of lipsticks I picked up on clearance for me to stock up.
If you missed my earlier post where I share all the beauty haul post not too long ago, I’ll put a link here. And so, after trying these for more than a week, I’m ready to share my thoughts.
Just look at this really cute packaging and I think it’s better packaging than the Flower Lip Service Lip Butter. It’s more compact and you could see the actual color lip shade down right at the bottom. So, you could see exactly what the lipstick shade would look like.
This is the Flower Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color and I think they’re a gorgeous everyday lips shades. I could see this lip color looking good on so many women and so many people who are making out on the working world and looking for lipstick enhance your skin tone and bringing everything a little bit of a notch. All I can say is that this is super duper wearable shades.
The prices on their items are similar to the cost of Revlon or L’oreal products. Most are in the range of $6 to $10.
I wanted to just give you a quick rundown of what I think of each of the items I’ve tried so far…
From the very left I got Petal Kiss (LS2), Rosey Garden (LS20) and Get To The Red Poinsettia (LS8). These are lovely shades for everyday wear that’s not screaming out the room. This lipstick has the creamiest to it. I noticed a slight hint of floral scents and it has no shimmer on it and it doesn’t have quite the shine factor to it which I really enjoyed.
Higher quality given a drugstore price. I really feel that for the most part, I could see this brand is comfortable for a high-end product.
And here are some in black packaging. The shades I got are Tulips 2 Kiss you (LS15), Cactus Flower (s25) and Berry Bloom (LS24). These are lip colors I see myself wearing in winter.
These lipsticks didn’t have the best staying power- but it feels great on the lips and has a gorgeous finishing tones.
I like the feel on my lips… not sticky, yet it doesn’t run all over the place. Thumbs up!
I got to give high marks for all these lipsticks. Love the formula and pigmentation.
Hopefully you’ve gotten a sense of some of the items available in the Flower Beauty brand which is available at Walmart (US). Have you tried anything yet, and if so, what did you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog. I really hope you enjoyed reading this post and I can’t wait to see you again on the next one. Bye!
