Hey guys! Today I wanted to talk to you about a few of the makeup products that have been making me happy. Yes, they’re the ColourPop makeup which I received a few days ago in my mail. I was thinking to do a review post but I’ve to push it back to other days due to some unforeseen circumstances, and so I thought to share with you what I ordered from ColourPop instead.
ColourPop was very generous when they offer free international shipping for orders above $50.00 a couple of weeks ago which I took advantage of. I’m not sure if they would offer free shipping again, but if you guys want to try these out, I still think that it’s worth spending $4.99 for shipping nevertheless.
Yes, I know I’m a little behind on the ColourPop game but was glad that I finally get to try all these amazing products out. Yes please!
The products I wanted to talk about are the ColourPop Zingara Super Shock Shadow Collection, Brow Colour, Super Shock Blush, Ultra Matte Lip, Lippie Stix and lastly is their Brow Pencil.
So here’s what they looks like. The eyeshadow comes in a pot while the lip products are in a tube packaging. I’m happy to say that I really like all these cute packaging.
I’ve heard so many good things about ColourPop makeup products and after doing swatches and trying the out for the first time, I can safely say that you can’t go wrong with ColourPop!
Each comes with jammed pack formula that “wows” me every time I uncover these bad boys. At $5.00 each in an array of glorious shades, these eyeshadows truly gives you the bang for your buck.
What will you get in Zingara Super Shock Shadow Collection? Well, it houses four beautiful eyeshadows in the shade Jinxie (Pearlized), Paradox (Satin), Elixer (Matte) and Seeker (Matte). So you basically get two matte shadows, a pearl and a satin finish all from this collection.
I love all the color choices in this set since it really reminds me of fall and here are the breakdown of the color tones in case you want to know or you can check on their website:
Paradox: A cool-toned burgundy red in a Satin finish
Elixir: A mid-tone true terracotta in a Matte finish
Seeker: A warm reddish brown in a Matte finish
Jinxie: A soft gold in a Pearlized finish
I tried it on for first impression review and I want to say that these eyeshadows just blew my mind. They’re insanely pigmented, feels creamy to powder texture which I really adore. I don’t just like it, I’m freaking loving it and I know that I’m going to enjoy wearing them every single day. That’s how much I love my babies. This Zingara is definitely a keeper. I love it so so much ❤
And if you’re not in the market to get a full collection of eyeshadows, you could choose any shades you like. They’ve all shades of the rainbows that suits anyone and everyone.
If you didn’t check out my Instagram yet, I’ve posted my EOTD while doing my first impression review here. I’ve also listed in the description on the eyeshadows I’ve used to create this eyemakeup look.
Next product I got is the Colourpop Brow Colour Pot in Bangin’ Brunette. I bought this because I heard some people were saying that this is a dupe for the Anastasia brow pomade and it’s much cheaper.
I’m always looking for something new to try and I’m impressed at how amazingly easy to work with this product. I’m able to shape my brows to the arch I like and then fill in my brows with this product.
It looks good and I’m excited to try out more and since this is my first time trying out a brow pomade so I’ll continue to use it.
Moving on is the ColourPop Brow Pencil in Dope Taupe (a soft taupe). A double ended pencil with crayon on one side and spoolie on the other.
A super precise, self-sharpening mechanical brow pencil. This long wearing formula applies comfortably without any pulling or dragging. I’ve my favorite brow pencil from Flower Beauty but this product is on another level of awesomeness.
I really like that it comes with a spoolie on the other end. Perfect size to groom and brushing out color to soften the brows.
All being said, I love it and for the price I’ll say go and get it. As for me, I definitely see myself repurchasing it.
Another product I’m excited to try is their Super Shock Cheek Blush in Quarters (which is a Mid tone dusty coral in a satin finish).
The texture is super soft and creamy. I love the cute white packaging and it’s so travel friendly. It blends well and the best part is that just a small amount goes such a long way!. It’s very pigmented and and you have to be careful not to apply too much at one go. This product allows you to go back and built it up to your desire finishing look.
On first sight, this color looks a little orangey than I expected but with it works well when I applied them on my cheek.
To sum up my first impression on this Super Shock Cheek Blush, I’m quite impressed with the quality and pigmentation.
I’m been obsessed with lip products lately and had been picking more liquid lipsticks than I really need. But I couldn’t resist not wanting to get them. The temptation was too great that I caved in. This shade was calling my name and I’ve to get it. And now I’m a proud owner of this Ultra Matte Lip in the shade Midi.
Available in a full selection of colors to choose from. Don’t wait, go to their website and choose the color that speaks the most to you. For colors so amazing, you have to collect them all.
The applicator comes in the doe foot tip and I like it so far. It picked up the formula nicely and glide smoothly without leaving my lips looking streak. That’s the worst nightmare I could imagine and thankfully this is not the case.
I heard that it may feels drying to some people but I don’t feel the dryness on my lips. It feels comfortable and it set in nicely. Love how light it feels on lips with a more than decent staying power.
I will repurchase and for $6.00 this can’t be beat.
Like all Lippie Stix this comes in a white slim casing with a swiveling up design and a slanted tip for easy application.
I love love and loving these two mauve-y pink shades lippie Stix. One has warmer tone than the other. I got the shade Cami (Neutral Mauve Pink) and Lumiere (Dusty Mauve Pink). Both the shades I chose are matte finishing.
I’ve inserted the color swatches below up close to show how amazing the colors and texture are.
I love the feel of the formula on my lips. Very comfortable and not drying at all even though it is without a doubt a matte lippie. The color doesn’t feather, flake, nor does it migrate and it wears for a solid five hours before leaving a slight stain behind during its final hour of wear. So another winner in my book.
I don’t really notice a flavor or fragrance with these but some have said there’s a slight vanilla and maybe I’m sensing that too now!? But it’s quite subtle! Let me know if yours have any scents on the comment. Do share your thoughts.
I highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a matte lipstick and budget friendly. For $5.00 a pop, you can’t beat the price honestly.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read and hope to see you again on my next post.
Have a fab week!
