When I was on my one week vacation it’s also the start of my digital detox. Which means no internet, no phones, no TV, no iPads and nothing. I know I’ve been on the internet and using everything digital too much. So, this time I wanted to take the opportunity to just go back in time.
First stop, I make sure that I don’t check on the internet after breakfast for the next 6 hours (for two consecutive days). I don’t read emails and I turned off my phone when I was out. It’s very hard initially and this makes me realize how much dependent I was.
Have you heard of digital detox? Would you be interested to do a challenge to be without internet, phone and TV for the next 24 hours? What do you think would be the hardest thing about been so dependent on them?
I think it would be an interesting experiment and I would love it if you try it at home. I love to see how you did without digital detox.
