Best Of Both World: Borghese -Review, Swatches

Hi Everyone! I was in the mood for a little change on my blog to corporate it to this new blog name. I decided it was time to switch things up and try something new but for all you lips beauty product lovers here’s my best of both world products that have really been floating my boat recently.

I’ve with me here some Borghese Lip crayons and Lip glosses I got from Winners a while ago. Unfortunately, I don’t have the receipt with me since it has been a month or so when I got them. Does this ever happened to anyone where you simply couldn’t find the receipt when you most needing it? Let me know in the comment below. Or is it just me, I don’t know!

Anyways, I’m excited so let’s start.

You might have spotted these Borghese lip products on my Instagram before and as you may know, I haven’t had them for very long but it’s a love on first sight kinda affair. They’re chubby crayons that is both comfortable and moisturizing on lips. A lightweight, pigmented and balmy lipstick formula in a lip crayon packaging.

The downside of it is that they’re not as long lasting as a matte lipstick but better than a lip gloss. I don’t find them to be streaky or sticky at all. So yes to these pretty babes!

From my left – Bacio (in classic red), Pesca (coral nude) and Rosa (in pink). All these three lip crayons have shimmer on them. This is not a matte product by all means, I just want to point it out.

The name of the lipsticks are pretty cool. They have Rosa, Bacio and Pesca whatever that means, I like it.

It says here behind the box packaging “Long lasting lip color that contains Vitamins C and E to help provide anti-oxidant protection. Helps lips feel soft an cushion”. I’ve been wearing them for the past weeks and also today. I can honestly second the latter statement by Borghese.

To summarize in one word, I’d say they’ve really got every fantastic summer shade a girl could ask for! I definitely would pick more shades from this collection.

And then, I also got these B Lip Gloss in Petalo and Mandarin. Can you tell which one is which? Comment below, alright!

I did a color swatch down below. Ahhh!!! You can see how beautiful this lip glosses are. It’s just like a gorgeous pink, make your lips, glossy, plump and juicy. Feels really nice on lips as well.

Mandarino is a dark orangy peach tone lip gloss. Love the doe foot applicator. Lovely packaging and it holds 0.18 fl oz of the products.

I did mentioned on my previous post that I quite get the hang of lip gloss lately. I wasn’t a huge fan but after my experienced with Burt’s Bees, my perception of lip gloss changed (in a good way).

Petalo &Mandarino

Did you get it right on the shades I asked earlier? Not too difficult eh!

Here are the beautiful beautiful lip glosses I really need this summer. They definitely make my lips pout, glossy and sexy. The formula is not sticky and greasy. I really like this product on my lips.

The only downside is that it’s not very long wearing. It does transfers when I did a kiss test on my hand. For me, it’s not a really big worry since it’s totally understandable that lip gloss tend to slip much faster than a matte lip product. But that’s just my opinion.

Well guys, that’s it for today’s post and I hope you find it interesting and helpful. Make sure you follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, I’ll link it down below.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I’ll see you guys again on the next one. Bye!

Sharon xoxo

  1. Those Chubby crayons look AMAZING!!! And yes, I always lose information – I tend to put papers somewhere so I can “easily find it” then completely forget where that place is! Then it turns up like months later 😛
