Hey guys! It’s a beautiful Saturday morning. The sun is out and birds flying back from South.

Honestly, I haven’t been feeling well and had recently been seeing by my doctor. Different medications were prescribed to help recover. I sometimes still that “laughter is the best medicine”. (Okay this is just me trying to be Dr Sharon lol!)

  1. Aww! I hope you feel better! I recently had a moment where I laughed at myself! Actually, I’m still nervously laughing over the incidence…

So, you know how facebook is a great way to reconnect with old high school friends you haven’t talked to in years? Ummm, easier said than done when you’ve got anxiety!

Once upon a time, I had a really good male friend whom I talked to about everything. Whenever he got a girlfriend he’d stop talking to me (which I guess I understand) and eventually we just totally grew apart and would only see each other when I stopped into his work. Well, I’ve moved out of state almost 3 years ago so it’s been a LONG time since I’ve seen him and I was curious as to how he was doing. . . Now, having anxiety, I overthink EVERYTHING. “Is it weird that I want to talk to him? Will I seem like a psycho since he probably doesn’t care about nostalgia? Does this wording seem psychotic?” I ask my friend. Finally I pick a perfect, short sentence that doesn’t seem too involved and just the right amount of cool. “Ctrl+C” to copy it. I open the facebook messenger and hit “ctrl+V”… And SOMEHOW it sent a SCREENSHOT of my worrying pedantics to him! Questions to my friend about seeming too high strung and even a tab open to make sure “nostalgia” was a positive phrase.

My! Was I embarrased! I completely avoided FB for like, a day because I had to clue what to say. But after I slept on it I finally laughed and realized, “Wow, this is such a ‘Cherish’ thing of me to do!” (I at least hope it’s endearing, at a minimum).

Hope you had a good laugh. Feel better!

    • Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing your story. Hahaha! the “V” and “C” buttons are so closed to each other. It happened to me to once … I wanted to send an email to my sister but sent it to my work colleague instead. Embarrassing moment for me. Oops! I’m feeling a little better. Have a good week xo

  2. Ha!haaa, love it. See my right and left hand look a mess after I paint them. I just can’t get it right. I agree laughter is the best medicine. And sometimes Dr. Sharon will know what’s best for Sharon. When I feel upset I have my go to thing that I know will make me smile and laugh. They say just putting a smile on automatically makes you feel happier. So a good laugh is great medicine. Thank you for sharing your medication 😆
