Are you ready for a jammed packed picture post? Continue reading if you’re curious!
In today’s segment, I love to talk with you on the drugstore beauty brand named Quo. I was fairly new to Quo Cosmetics brand until recently after I acquired their first eyeshadow palette that makes me feel like I was on cloud nine :) Therefore, I’m sharing with you the next eyeshadow palette which stole my heart the second time. I got this from my local Shoppers Drug Mart (Canadian Drugstore) and there was only another one left from this Holiday Collection. It was on liquidation sale.
I bring you their previous Holiday Gift Collection in Must Have Eyes by Quo. You’ll get 29 classic eyeshadows which you can easily wear for day or evening . Included in this package you’ll find 5 cream liners. Regular price was $35.00 but I paid $15.00 only for this bad boy.
The packaging is unique with two tier palettes that you can be turned the top palette to 360 degrees.
The 1st row from left to right is the cream liners in Black, Royal Blue, Dark Brown, Grey and Purple while the 2nd and 3rd rows are all eyeshadows. Awesome choice of eye liners all in one package.
These shades are not very loud and in fact the contrary. It has a soft muted shades of Lighter tones to Brown and Taupe. I love love the texture. Very easy to work and beautiful blending. Soft and smooth with stunning pigmentation.
Color swatches of the 1st palette shadows swiped directly on bare hand. No primer was used for these swatches. What you see is what you’ll get! Beautiful pigmentation don’t you think? I think so too. There are some sparkly shimmer shadows on this palette too.
Next is the 2nd palette which has all my favorite colors for fall. The darker shades are perfect for a smokey eyes makeup look for example the blue, purple and taupe. Beautiful colors selection to work on. I was so excited that I’ve been playing with some of the shades as you can see in the pictures shown below.
Here are the color swatches of the second palette which has more cooler tones and a few Purple and Taupe shades. There are two matte shades on each palette. Matte shadows are wonderful to apply on the crease and as a transition color.
Again, some more pictures of the palettes and each has hard plastic cover to protect the eyeshadows,
I’m so excited I kept taking more pictures and I have to share them in this post. I really love the colors in this palette. It goes from light to mid-tone and dark shades.
I’m impressed with the textures, blending and the finishing look. It gives an amazing color payoff and it lasted all the day. No touching up necessary. So yay! Love it!
Here are the eye makeup looks that I’ve been playing with this palettes. You can create unlimited look with it. How cool is that? Don’t wait, if you stumbled upon this palette, do yourself a favor and grab one. You’d sure to love it.
Yes, you’ll see more purple eye makeup look for the coming season. It’s fall after all and purple is one of my favorite shades to wear. How about you, which color would it be?
The Blue on my lid and on the lower lash line, I used Mac eyeshadow in Plumage. I smoked the Blue I used on the lid for a smokey results. The rest I use the matte Brown from Quo for the crease from the top palette. Then I apply Taupe from the other palette on the outer corner for more definition. Just blend out the rough edges and finished with a simple winged liner. Et Voila!
Whew! It seems like a novel book long but I enjoyed every minute of it. Hope you find this post useful and fun to read. Catch up with you guys again next Wednesday on Drugstore Epic Beauty Snag. I highly recommend it!
