Unbagging My June Glam Bag By Ipsy

My June Glam Bag from Ipsy arrived Friday afternoon and I immediately jumped into action by quickly opening up the pink fuschia envelope and inside I found this lovely black purse with Ipsy letters imprinted on the top plastic material while the back is of polyester material.

Okay, let’s dig in and voila here are some of the sample products I got for this month. I can see myself wearing and using all the products in this glam bag. There are some beauty brands that I’ve never tried or heard before. I can’t wait to share what I got with you. Continue reading below to find out more …

I got a Shea Moisture Butter Lipstick, Dr Brandt Blackhead Extractor Mask, Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Tre’StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon and 3 BioRepublic Face Mask (photo down below).

Below I’ll show each product and description as I unbagged:-

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer with net wt: 0.25 fl oz in a travel size. Retail for $36.00 for net wt: 1 fl oz on the website. Oh my gosh! I think I’ve found my holy grail primer! The texture is so wonderfully smooth and it just absorbs right into my skin leaving skin feeling super glorious. It has a very subtle scents which wouldn’t affect my decision in picking up a regular size Smashbox at Sephora.

I’m in love with this amazing foundation primer. It create a perfect canvas for foundation application with this silky, lightweight blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. This primer is also oil free!

I seriously need to try out this Dr Brandt’s Vacuum Cleaner Blackhead Extractor Mask to get rid of my blackheads around my nose area. This could be a life saver to avoid excruciating pain using the old school method. It says here that this gentle exfoliating mask helps loosen and extract blackheads without painful extraction tools while absorbing oil and tightening pores. Use Ipsy code VACUUM25 and get 25% off your purchase. Regular size online sells for $45.00 a tube. I think it’s pricey but check back later where I’ll share the results after using this mask.

I haven’t heard of this brand Tre’StiQue and curious to find out what this Shadow Crayon performance in terms of quality and result. I got the shade in Venetian Gold and I love the soft pigmentation when I did a swatch. I’ll share with you the color swatch and makeup look in my next post. It has six other pretty shades in this line with each selling for $26.00.

It says on the website that this amazing 12 hour eye shadow has customizable color that you can build from a subtle wash to intense vibrancy. It’s also super blendable with a crease free, smooth finish. Use Ipsy code to get 15% off your purchase using this code IPSYINSIDER15.

I always love a full size sample and I’m happy to get this Shea Moisture Butter Lip Crayon in my bag. The shade I got from my Ipsy bag is in Sarah (pink with a satin finish). I seldom have this color in my lip color collection. Oh well, I might as well wear it now! It’s super smooth and it glides so beautiful on my lips. My lips feels moist and the shade stays for a good 3 hours.

This brilliant multi-tasker acts like a liner and lipstick in one. I believe you can get this at Target. One thing you want to know is that this lip crayon is paraben and cruelty free.

I received three sheet masks in Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask, Cucumber Breeze Soothing Fiber Mask, and Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask by BioRepublic. Each net wt: 1.89 oz. You also get in each mask a packed full aloe, green tea and cucumber extracts with Vitamin E and they’re suited for all skin types. You get a special if you order through ipsy promo code IPSYBIOREPUBLIC where you get 8 masks for $30.00 instead of $42.00 + free shipping.

What’s more, BioRepublic SkinCare claims that its products are 100% cruelty free and so your conscience will feel as relieved as your complexion. I’m really excited to try these masks since lately I’ve been extra stressed so I’m planning to try the Cucumber Breeze tonight 🙂

So, that’s all that I have for you in my June Glam Bag and I hope you find it interesting and helpful. Full reviews on the products above will be posted once I’ve tried them thoroughly.

  1. I did not get the tea in my Ipsy bag. I got some hair conditioning type of item. I would have loved to have the tea instead. The lip product this month is good. I got a stain instead but it is really good. I like the Ipsy subscription so far. Great post.

  2. The Smashbox Primer was my holy grail for a while. I have no idea why I stopped using it. Definitely going to pick it up again :D. I really love the actual bag for this month though. It’s so cute 😀

    1. Thank you for your comment. Yay that we got 3 out of 5 similar items. It’s my first time trying out Dr Brandt’s blackhead mask and I’m excited. I was hoping for the melted lipstick but I got lip crayon instead 😦 Overall, I’m still happy with this month’s bag 🙂 xo
