top 3 palettes

This Wednesday, I’m going to talk with you about the Top 3 Picks of May : Eyeshadow Palettes. Whew! enough of me babbling, I’ve put some pictures of my top 3 picks which you’ll like. These pictures are in no particular orders.

lorac unzipped palette

Let’s begin with my favorite Lorac Unzipped Eyeshadow Palette. In this palette you’ll find 10 ultra rich long lasting shimmery and matte shadows in a super nude palette. This is unbelievably amazing palette which I reach out everytime I want a little hint of rosy pink shadow in a cooler toned to blend with the warmer nude. The packaging is brilliant. It comes in a cardboard material with a magnet on the cover lids to close the palette shut. It has a good size mirror and it has a large pan for the shadows.

Out of the 10 shadows, 4 are matte while the other 6 are with shimmery finish. Color payoff is incredible and a little goes along way. I love to reach out to Lorac Unzipped when doing a neutral nude eye look.Hit here if you like to read more on the full review of this palette.

naked 2 palette by ud

Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics is the palette that I’ll reach for every time. This palette has six shades and all are matte. If you love love natural barely there look from a matte palette or a big fan of matte shadows then I can tell you that Naked 2 Basics is definitely for you.

ud naked2 basic palette

Check this out, Naked 2 Basics comes in a full size shadows and all highly pigmented. The texture is so soft and smooth to blend. They don’t drag on your skin or leave an inconsistent little marks (which matte black are notorious of doing). If you compared it to Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette, Naked 2 is of much cooler toned and the good news is that it’s neutral enough for everyone, from cool skin tones to olive complexions to darker skin. As many of you know, I’m prone to gravitate more to matte shadows and let me tell you that this palette is just amazing. It’s available at Urban Decay, Sephora and Amazon.

This formula doesn’t feel chalky like other brands do. It’s buttery with velvety texture which I’m so fond of. I find that these shadows are long lasting and the electability is incredible. The shade Skimp is used as a highlighter and adding dimension. Now, that’s brilliant! Even the packaging feels so smooth and suede-like feel. I don’t have to worry about bring it when travelling. The casing is durable and looks classy❤

nude 'tude palette

Last but not least is the talk within the blog sphere lately – Nude ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette by theBalm. I heard and read many good reviews on this palette and I can’t possible leave this palette at the back of a burner since I love how pigmented these shadows are. Check on my friend’s blog Kaily from somedaysunny where she talks about Nude ‘tude too. I’ll put her link below. We love this palette. The shades are adorable (click here for my full review of this palette). So, here are the pictures of the Nude ‘tude.

nude the balm

You can see 12 beautiful shadows that makes wearing nudes sexy. This eyeshadow palette comes in a cardboard type packaging with a good size mirror on the lid. There is a double ended shadow and liner brush which I find it cool!. Inside the palette are 12 shimmery and matte shades that are so versatile and easy to blend. If you are looking for a shimmery finish then look no further. The texture of these shadows are smooth and soft. So, far I haven’t had any fallout experience with these incredible eyeshadows. (Check on my full review here).

shadows matte - shimmers

The formula is creamy and with satin finish. My favorite shades are all in this palette. I’m loving it and love it to the moon and back. It’s long wearing and even though the price might be on a higher side but the color payoff is amazing. The marvellous quality by theBalm products that makes me lust to try more of its makeup products. So, yay to theBalm cosmetics for you make so many beautiful girls happy.

nude eye look

This look I’m wearing is from Nude ‘tude eyeshadow palette. I put Stand-offish on my lids and Schltzo for the crease and Sleek on my outer v-corner. I used Sassy as the highlighter for this look and finished it with NYX Eyeliner Pencil in Black.
