This month’s Ipsy theme is the “Beautiful Bohemian”

I always love bohemian fashion and makeup style and when I got the sneak peek that this month’s bag is bohemian, I can’t wait for my glam bag to arrive. Eventually, I did and below are what’s inside my bohemian bag. In this bag, there are 5 sample products.

ipsy glam bag - sharon beauty prime

This months bag is cream beige with fine stripes type pattern on it. Cute to store my makeup products. I would trust it to keep things safe from breaking or things from rolling around your purse. Inside this bag we have a Full size Hikari Blush, JulieG Nail Polish, a Crown Oval Concealer Brush and the samples are theBalm Nude Dude Eyeshadow. HOW CUUUUUUUTEEEEEE!!!  and lastly a sample size Klorane Dry Shampoo.

julieg nail polish

At the top is the JulieG Nail Polish in Damsel (mid toned pink) shade. Net wt: 0.35 fl oz.Valued $3.99. Highly-pigmented, no chip formula as claimed by JulieG. This is my first time getting a JulieG nail polish and I’m looking forward to trying it out. On first glace, the packaging LOOKS cute and the brush is pretty decent size and the amount of polish you get is just nice. The color Damsel is a lovely hot fuchsia which is perfect for spring and summer. Available in 63 different shades of matte satin and/or glittery finish. No animal testing which means it’s a cruelty free product. Always look out for a leaping bunny logo on the packaging or the cruelty free logo or peta logo😀

klorane dry shampoo

Moving on we have Klorane Dry Shampoo in with Oat – Natural Tint. Net wt: 1 oz. Valued: $19.50 for a regular size (3.2 oz) bottle. On the website it says “the ultimate secret weapon to clean hair without water and to add amazing volume! For the first time Klorane has integrated mineral pigments in a formula exclusively tailored to brown to dark hair.” This dry shampoo will clean your hair without water, restore volume and saves on water and time. How cool is that, right! You really got to try this. It feels and smell wonderful😀

Okay, maybe a little embarrassed to admit but I only heard of dry shampoo just recently. I wash my hair every two days. And dry shampoo is never in my beauty vocabulary. But one day I was introduced to a dry shampoo cap by one of the nurse in the hospital where I was hospitalized and I was amazed. I know now that there is a quick fix for my hair in case of emergency. I mean I’m still washing my hair with water but I know now that there is another alternative to washing hair. Be it if you’re going camping or if you’re travelling to places with water scarcity. Dry shampoo is the answer. Therefore, I’m super happy to get this product from Ipsy. Thank you Ipsy!

hikari blush

Next is the Hikari Cosmetics in Tango. Net wt: 0.21 oz. Valued $15.00. Designed to highlight your complexion, this weightless blush can be used lightly for a fresh look so it claims. Available in seven beautiful shades at Hikari online. Tango is a matte pink coral tone which blends incredibly and I’m loving it so far. The shades look pretty to wear for everyday wear. The texture is  smooth and the color payoff is insane. This is not a matte finish blush I can tell you that much. I’ll put a review up with color swatch once I’ve tried it next. So, stay tuned!

DSC01060

Followed by theBalm Nude Dude Eyeshadow Single in Flirty. Net wt: 0.035 oz. Valued $ 36.00 for regular full size palette of 0.336 oz containing 12 shadows. I’m impressed that with this shadows, you can wear them wet or dry and alone or layered for added intensity, so go ahead and cover (or uncover) your eyes. The Flirty Dude shade I got is richly pigmented. This shade is plum-red with gold-shimmer. The texture is soft but a little bit powdery in my opinion when I picked the shadow from the pan for color swatch. But once you apply on eyelids it just blend in beautifully. The color payoff is incredible. So, a little goes a long way. I did a review on the ‘etude Nude eyeshadow palette before and I’ll put a link here if you like to go back to read. The balm is one of my top 5 favorite eyeshadow brands. Love the pigmentation!

crown concealr brush crown brush

Lastly the Crown Oval Concealer Brush in C224. Net wt: 0.03 oz. This Crown Brush Oval Concealer Brush is made of 100% Flexible Japanese Torray Taklon Bristles (synthetic). It’s super soft and pick up product with ease. I love it❤ Even my porcelain geisha loves it! Just look how pretty it go.

Over all, I’m pleased with this month’s bag. I saw some of my fellow ipster who gets the new Melted Liquified lipstick by Too Faced which I think would be nice to have than the concealer brush but I’m still not disappointed.

Good job Ipsy – another thumbs up for making this April’s glam bag a satisfied one for me. I’m happy that I would be able to use all the products in this month’s bag, yay!!!  :)

I’ve seen a lot of variations of what people received in their ipsy bags this month and I think your assortment is the best! You got all the items I would want – very useful stuff!
