I got this top 5 old favorites pick that I wanted to share with all of you today. I have used these products for a while but then I keep on going back whenever I have the chance. So, let’s see what I got here. They’re all in random order and not in any particular preference.
Sothys Golden Veil/Estée Lauder Compact Disc Eyeshadow Palette/The Body Shop Pressed Powder 02/Clinique Lipstick in Va Va Violet/The Body Shop Lipstick in Nude
I’ll start with my old time favorite the Body Shop Pressed Face Powder 02. This is a lovely shade which I really adore. It’s richly pigmented and the texture is ultra fine and smooth. It helps keep shine at bay and it’ll be awesome for normal to oily skin type. I usually wear this pressed powder on its own without foundation since this is a cruelty free makeup product by Body Shop.
Sothys Golden Veil Enlightening Effect with net wt: 1 fl oz is a beautiful liquid-y formula that is great for smoothing and lightening effect that similar to that of the rays of sunshine without subjecting the skin to those of damaging rays. I usually apply them on my neckline and shoulders for a more tanning tone on my skin. I have a few of Sothys’ products and this is one of them. Unfortunately, this Golden Veil Enlightening has been discontinued but I still wanted to share this brand with you guys because it’s one of my favorite products to wear.
I love Clinique’s lip products and I believe I talked about the other lipstick awhile ago. Just look how gorgeous and sexy this burgundy red lipstick is! So moist and opaque. Amazing pigment formula and stunning shade. I love it…. totally in love with this Clinique’s lipstick for sure. You know how much I love red lipstick and more if they’re matte. I wore this when I did my ombré lips tutorial previously. It’s a bold color, one to wear when you want attention🙂 Oh yeah!
The extreme opposite of red bold lips is this neutral nude lipstick by the Body Shop. While red is mostly worn for the holidays and New Year and as we step into Spring – nude is calling me! From runway fashion to fashion magazine, neutral nude is in. Having said that, I have this lipstick for the longest time and sadly I don’t remember how much I paid for it but the Body Shop might still have them except with different packaging. The packaging is nothing to shout about but the texture is beautiful.
I love that I don’t have to do intensive prep work to wear nude lipstick. No lip scrubs or lip balm needed. The formula is smooth and it glides incredibly well.
I’m not sure if you have seen this Compact Disc Eyeshadow (net wt: 0.11 oz) packaging before by Estée Lauder but this are the most smoothest and soft shadows I’ve ever tried. The shades in this palette are Ivory, Brown, Pink and Violet. The texture feels so soft and creamy and not chalky at all. I noticed that this eyeshadow is lightweight with very sheer finish. It applies easily with an satisfying pigmentation and it’s very buildable.
The next time you have the pangs of neutral hunger (it happens), satisfy your urge by visiting your nearest Estée Lauder counter or esteelauder.com or at ebay.
